Philips lofts in Edmonton

Constructed in 1912, the Phillips Loft condo building in Edmonton features locally sourced brick and limestone.  The building was purchased in the 50’s and converted from a warehouse to a commercial space and named after the owners first grandson.

Worthington Properties, a local Edmonton based developer purchased the property at a time when it was scheduled for demolition.  Worthington properties hired Chandos Construction to execute a complete restoration and renovation of the building and renewed much of it to its original character.  Throughout the process the developer converted the former office space into 29 unique and highly desirable loft condos and three commercially zoned condos.

Most condos have exposed brick, timber beams and rafters, and 11 foot ceilings. Finishes vary due to private owner renovations throughout the years.  The Phillips Lofts condo building features underground parking, elevator access and air-conditioning in most suites, and a rooftop patio.
